When I import an adobe illustrator file into motion, the graphics look blurry. I want them to look sharp. Here are some screen shots, that show the blurry illustrator file and the various settings. The text is size is 100 points (very big) in the illustrator file. Motion did not rasterize the imported file. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

how are you importing the Illustrator file? The pic of your file in situ looks like it is a rasterised image file, and not a vector?

I'm having similar issues but with bitmaps. I'm bringing in bitmaps and they look blurry even thought the are high resolution.How can I fix this?
I read about Motion rasterizing vector graphics when certain effects are applied. I made sure I didn't apply any of them. Still no luck with sharp graphics.
Thanks for the advise Russ. I can't find the Media tab with the "fixed resolution" check box. Here's a screen shot. Maybe you can see what i'm doing wrong. There is a Media tab in a different area, but it doesn't have the check box you have.
Select the media tab to the right of the layers tab in the Project Pane.
Then in the Inspector, click on the media tab.
Fixed resolution is checked by default.

I still don't see it. Here is my screen shot. I selected Media next to Layers. Then, I went to the Inspector, and no Media tab (view below). I'm using Motion version 5.0.5. Maybe we're using different versions.
It doesn't look as though you have selected the file.
