Message Count Not Appearing in Application Bar

I have several e-mail accounts I route through Mail with a unified Inbox where I keep track of mail arriving. In the past, I had a count of the total number of messages in Mail that was displayed by the word Inbox in the app's bar at the top. That count has disappeared. If I check individual accounts I get the number of messages in that account displayed by the Inbox for that particular account, but not by the Inbox that I have for all accounts.

How can I get the number of messages I have in mail to re-appear by the Inbox name where I check all of my mail.
