apple store keep my mbpro !!! say it was stolen !

i buy a macbook pro 13" 2 year ago on ebay, brand new sealed ... but the battery die and not able to turn it on, so i bring it to apple store palo alto

and now they wont give me back my macbook pro bec they say it was stolen from a apple store it was demo mbpro

now i feel so upset, bec i have no more this mbpro ebay dosent care, and i have no proof, since this store wont give me anymore proof that it was really stolen

and i still have the box and it was brand new, they how come it was stolen from a store

apple say they dont keep record of stolen apple product but if u go on apple sotre they able to know if ist stolen or not... really stange....

im so upset .... bec .. a the end no one care.... and i feel trapp ! bravo apple ......

You should contact a lawyer for a consultation and be advised of your rights in this situation. Probably not much you can do. You also might want to contact eBay and advise them that the MBP you bought was stolen property. In as much as it was stolen from one of their stores prior to a sale they probably have that record as part of their inventory.
