garageband '11 guitar effects compared to '08

Are the guitar effects the same? I have leopard 10.5 installed with garageband '08 but will be upgrading to snow leopard 10.6. that has '11. I really like the guitar effect called "dreamy shimmer" is that included in the guitar effects in '11?
