I downloaded several Micheal Buble songs from iTunes, purchased the CD and loaded to iTunes, but only the songs purchased on iTunes show up in Match.

I purchased several songs for my wife to listen to so she could see if she liked them. She then bought the CD's. I added them to my iTunes collection. Previous to using Match, these songs acted the same as any other CD that I imported to iTunes on any of our devices. In iTunes Match, however, ONLY the songs I originally downloaded show up on the cloud, and not the rest of the album. I had the same occurance with other artists, but on Buble seems to have done this. The albums in question are Crazy Love, Micheal Buble, and Call Me Irresponsible. I haven't checked all of the albums/artist/songs, but as far as I have checked his albums are the only ones where this has occurred. The albums are all available from iTunes, so they should qualify for Match.

Excuse me if this just shows how ignorant I am about Match, but as far as I know everything possible is uploaded to Match. If I click on the cloud symbol only the Buble songs downloaded from iTunes show up, and I have hit the update Match from iTunes several times in the last 6 months, and it has been at least 6 to 8 months since we loaded the CD's onto iTunes. I subscribed to Match last July, about the same time as we loaded the CD's, so this is not new music that just hasn't shown up yet.

To display the iCloud Status for tracks first switch to the Song (or List) view. Then pull down View > View Options, select the "iCloud Status" check box and close the little window.

There will be a new column in the iTunes Browser called "iCloud Status." Click this column to sort on it, find the songs in question and tell what the status is. Then we can help you trouble shoot.

Te first trouble shooting step then is to force quit the Music app on the iPhone. Tap the Home button to get back to the Ho e screen, then double-tap the Home button to bring up the app switcher. Find the Music app and tap-n-hold until it wiggles. Tap the "x" to close it and tap the Home button again. Ow launch the Music app by tapping it. The music should now show up. If it does not you should disable iTM on the iPhone, launch the Music app and let the content clear out, then re-enable iTM.

Thanks. I had to switch off iTunes Match, but the music showed up on my iPhone 4s after that. My wife is out of town this week, and does not have easy access to free wi-fi, so I doubt she will be willing to do anything until she gets home again. We share an account, and she is the one who wanted the albums on her phone. I was able to get the music onto her phone by sending the albums to a playlist that is on her phone, and the songs turned up there, but not under 'Albums' or 'Micheal Buble', but she has the music. I will offer to walk her through the steps (which aren't that hard) but I think she will want to wait till she gets back.

But if it worked on my phone it should work on hers, so I think this did solve the problem. Thanks again!
