it's fine to use it as disk in Mac, but when I connected to a windows which has no itunes, it ask me to format the nano before I open it. Should I do it? Can I do it?

What should I do if I want to use nano as a normal disk ? I mean the one I dont need to install itunes in ramdon computers which I used at shcool.....

You mean, just to load info. onto it? Drag the stuff to the Notes folder in iPod nano files.
Why are you wanting to use it with random computers at school?
I use my nano to listen music while im studying. So it's nice if i can use it as an USB as well. i can carry less stuff...
i cant not open the nano file in windows at school. it ask me to reformat the file as the computer cant read or what ....but it's totally fine when i access it with my mac...
