The microphone image at the bottom of the keyboard on my iPhone 4S has become grayed out in the last few days on the Calendar app, and I can no longer dictate new calendar events. The same app works fine on my iPad and on my wife's iPhone 4S. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this problem?

Update: the problem has somehow fixed itself, as inexplicably as it appeared. The vagaries of computers . . .
The first thing you can always try without losing any data, is to reset your phone, by holding the home and wake/sleep button down until the apple symbol comes up , then release. This solves alot of issues. Just for future knowledge...
