What wattage adapter for ipod 5

Hi,

Apple have 2 electric adapters compatible with ipod touch 5th generation, one 5W and one 12W. My iPad 2 came with a 10W adapter. Can i use it to charge my ipod 5th generation?

iPod touch (5th generation), iOS 6

You can use the higher power charger with the iPod, I use my iPad charger all the time with the iPhone except when I am at work and only have the iPhone charger with me.

Ralph is correct. However, don't go in the other direction. Don't use the 5W charger for the iPad.

The 5 watt charger will charge the iPad with the screen off but it will charge slowly, about 1/2 as fast as with a 10 watt charger. It can;t damage the iPad.
