Q: Why does my Mac not support Windows 8 after the 10.8.3 update.
Hello community,
Today i was very exited to finally get my hands on the new 10.8.3 update und finally install Windows 8. But in the moment my Mac downloaded the support software (Drivers and Stuff), i got the message "Your mac only supports windows 7". First i tought my Macbook Pro might be to old (Mid2010). But it isn't. But the FAQ on Boot Camp 5.0 and Windows 8 are saying something different. here is the Link
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5628
It would be very cool if someone could tell me the reason why it's not working or how i get it to work. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. And sorry for the bad english.

Let me guess. You have a 13" Mid 2010 Macbook Pro. Is that correct? If so Win 8n is not supported on that Mac. No discrete video card.
