I received an email from England from a relative. It was in German andthe URL attached would not open. A preliminary search informed me that it was a virus but intender for .exe files. Has it infected my computer? I run Snow Leopard on an iMac. The main wording included the German words "wurde gesperrt"

Tell your friend. Somehow hsi/her system could be infected by a "forward emails" virus" that uses the available address list. Your friend needs to change all email account passwords immediately to stop the sending.

The true sender is likely hiding 5 or 6 levels behind in the forward-chain.
