Hello. Does anybody know how to fix this yet? Similarly to other users here, I have read many topics about similar problems but have not found a solution yet.
My problem is this:
I have a recent iMac 27 (purchased new this year) with a 3TB Fusion drive.
I am trying to install Windows 8 from an ISO with Bootcamp.
Bootcamp Assistant works perfectly. I am able to partition my drive and create an installation USB disk. I use the Bootcamp software to download the latest support and indicate that I am installing "Windows 7 or later".
The initial automated reboot brings me to a black screen. Nothing happens.
When I reboot and press Alt to show boot options, I can boot into OSX, Windows or EFIBOOT.
OSX works as per normal, Windows boots into black screen, EFIBOOT boots into Windows 8 installation;
However, EFIBOOT installation does not progress further than the partition selection screen. I can format and the Bootcamp partition, and it seems to work (no error appears), but the next button remains unusable and the note about GPT and MBR and EFI (I don't remember what it says -- these terms mean very little to me) remains.
I have tried formatting the partition using the command prompt, but I have the same result.
I have read that the installation will only work via booting from the Windows partition -- NOT from the EFIBOOT (USB stick) -- because apparently this partition contains some wonderful piece of Apple software that presents some deceptive information to Windows so that it will successfully install. Perhaps that's wrong - but it doesn't seem to be working for me either way.

Any clues yet? Is it actually possible?
