I had to install a new C drive on my macbook and now i am trying to export ICloud ICAL back to my laptop.
Why? all you have to do is reconnect your iCloud account and it will be put back for you, no export/import required.
There is no C drive on a Mac, are you using Windows?
No just old terminology.... I was able to export my contacts from Icloud to mac with no problem but can't seem to do the same with ICal.
OK, but remember that you did not export anything, you re-subscribed to your onine data store.
Do this: Sign out of iCloud (in System Preferences>iCloud), reboot and sign back in, usually that will correct the issue, if not we'll move on to adding the calendar manually to iCal (Lion) or Calendar (Mountain Lion).
