why doesn't mountain lion support my imac
I am am trying to upgrade from 10.6.8 to mountain lion and also it does not work to purchase the OS on apple store?
iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.8)
Does it meet the tech specs?

my imac has the following specs but still it won't work to buy mountain lion
Try checking the model number to see when your iMac was actually built. Even though you bought it in (example) 2008, it may be an earlier model.
You maybe able to use Lion if you want.
