Asterisk and Command Full Stop key commands not working in Logic 9

Hi,

This week some of my key commands in Logic have stopped working. Asterix to start recording (the screen now just flicks) and Command Full Stop to delete current recording and return to start (it now just carries on recording).

Stangely though, the space bar and enter key are operating as usual. Also, all screensets are working.

This is not the end of the world as I can use the mouse, but I miss them.
