I dropped my iPhone 4 - Now it's acting eratically
I dropped my iPhone 4 from about 2 feet and it turned off instantly. The phone fell onto a carpetted floor.
When I plug it into the wall to charge the charging logo appears. Eventually the Apple logo appears and the phone turns on. It displays either 100% battery or 91% battery. I know neither of these figures is correct as it was low on charge when initially dropped. The phone has all of my apps and data but 'searches' for a network consistantly without any success. The wireless function is also non existant and the phone produces no sounds at all. After about 10 minutes the phone turns off without warning and starts the cycle again.
When the phone is connected to iTunes via my PC it displays the need for charge logo for about 5 seconds. And then the Apple logo appears for about 5 seconds before the screen goes black. This cycle goes on continuously without any progress. The computer never recognises the phone at any point.
The standard resets don't work and I haev also managed to reset all settings through the 'settings' section of the phone to no avail.
Is there any hope whatsoever?
Thanks in advance.
