Q: Using Pages for Kindle
I recently bought Pages and want to use it to create books to submit to Kindle. I'm trying to figure out how to create a Table of Contents in Pages that works with Kindle. I know how to do it in Word, I highlight a chapter title, right click on Heading 1 up top and then click Update to Match Selection. This does not work in Pages. Then in Word I create a hyperlink from the matching table of contents entry to the corresponding chapter title. Do I need to use the hyperlink option in Inspector? If so I'm not sure how to.
I'm also trying to figure out how to create Guide Items that let Kindle users "go to" from anywhere in the book. Is this possible in Pages?
If Pages can't do any of this I guess I can export it to Word, set this up in Word, then save it as an htm file to send to Kindle. But I was wondering it this could be done in Pages, thanks.
