bootcamp 10.8.3 info.plist is corrupt

hi i recently updated my m.lion to 10.8.3 from 10.8.2 and on 10.8.2 i had windows installed with bootcamp.

so i removed windows from boot camp to see if i can install win 8 and i found out i cant. so on 10.8.2 i watched a youtube vid where i can burn an iso image and make a bootable win 7 usb by changing the info.plist. and like an idiot i am i did not keep the original file.

when i tride to do the same to the info file 10.8.3 it wasent the same and i tride to see if i can make a win 7 bootble usb and it didnt work and now my bootcamp wont open at all.its icon has changed in my applications folder.

its icon now is 2 white papers and an A on top of it. the A was used from a paint brush, pencil, and a ruler.

PLEASE help me out in fixing my bootcamp and enable boot with usb on 10.8.3. thanks for looking

You damaged Boot Camp Assistant, so reinstall 10.8.3 > http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1640

You can install Windows from a USB drive only if you have a Mac without a built-in SuperDrive (the MacBook Air, Mid 2011 and newer Mac minis, Late 2012 iMac and MacBook Pro with Retina display). If Boot Camp doesn't show automatically this option, you can't install Windows from a USB drive. Also, note that this option is restricted

so like i said i had a copy of moun.lion and i downloaded that when i was in 10.8.2 and after i reinstalled it using that copy, nothing got deleted 🙂 and i went to 10.8.2. so that is a downgrade. my boot camp was fixed and i edited the info file to make a bootable usb and it worked. so right now im installing win 7 again. until theres a way to edit the info file on 10.8.3 to make a bootable usb and win 8 support on my macbook pro mid 2009, i will stay away.
