Q: serial number

I migrate to new iMac from my old iMac. I only have the Aperture 3 upgrade serial number, but I have been asked to entered the original serial number which was lost. any suggestions?

If your original Aperture 2 or 1 serial numbers are lost, you need to contact Apple for a replacement, but you will have to provide some "Proof of Purchase". See this support article:
