uninstall a program that says still open
I have a program that is saying still open, how do I uninstall it?
MacBook Air, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3)
In the menu of that program, in the first menu item choose Quit, to really quit it. The little red cross most of the time does not quit the program but "hide" it.
If you cannot quit it in this way, click the Apple Icon in the menu bar, and choose "force quit", then force quit the program.
