Sony HVR-MRC1 and FCP X

Audio is missing in avi and dv files I import to FCP X from Sony HVR-MRC1 memory recorder.

Is this normal or something wrong with my FCP X installation or settings?

If FCP X cannot import MRC1 fles properly, is there any recomendation for a good conversion sw ?
