Okay, I have an 1.42 GHz eMac that started smoking at bootup a few days ago. The screen no longer works, also.
I don't know the cause of this, and honestly I don't know what to do!!! lol I just want to know whats wrong so I can possibly have it fixed, or just get rid of it.

Sounds like it died. Is it all settled down now? (no power, no smoke)
Since it's an eMac, I presume it is out of warranty or Applecare.

I would leave the computer unplugged and dispose of it properly. It sounds like the display is going out and it would not be worth the cost to fix a PPC mac.
Your screen, since it shows no video and was smoking, has most likely blown. Since it is a CRT monitor, it cannot be replaced by Apple, as they have discontinued the CRT display. You will most likely have to purchase a new computer, as eMacs are now considered obsolete.
