should i share my apple ID with my 9 year old

just bought my 9 year old an ipad and i'm torn between using my apple ID for her use or setting the device as a new one and give her an ID of her own.

I want to be able to share the apps ive purchased with her but i dont want her to get notices from my email and face time.
