Hey thanks for the reply

the only thing is i never get through to the actual testing phase. After i hold D and the globe comes up i connect to the network and it works but after about 10 minutes staring at the globe the message: apple.com/support 2022D error comes up and the hardware test doesnt start, Should i still try and Reset the SMC and PRAM and try the test again or is there another solution?

I would do Pram and Smc reset

With the pram try several times to get the correct sequence.

It looks like that error is apple.com related perhaps one of their servers are down.

Internet issue perhaps

Be sure to disconnect any external devices, printers, hard drives, scanners, and so on (other than the Apple keyboard and mouse) from your Apple computer before starting up to Apple Hardware Test and running the diagnostic.

any Anti virus etc switched off.

Try ask apple

Hello All,

I have a Mac (Late 2011). I upgraded to Yosemite and then my laptop start restarting/ freezing itself. Then I tried to remove some of the softwares which I thought they might be not compatible to the new Yosemite. Nothing changed (was always restarting itself or freezing in the middle of my work)

I thought ok, I clean installed (means format the computer and reinstall) the Yosemite again but the same things happening.

Then I searched through the web and I found I can check the hardware by Apple Hardware Test. I restart my computer and keep holding D (nothing happened ) then I kept hold alt+D , it goes well.

It connects to the internet but after a while give me an error 2002D.

I have searched alooooottttt and I did repair and many other stuff but I have the same problem , restarting over and over.

Can you please one help me to find where the problem is ?

Cheers,
