Q: I set up my iCloud address using my husband's iTunes account. Now I have my own iTunes account, iPhone, iPad and iMac. He can not get access to an iCloud account???

I created an iCloud account last year using my husbands MobileMe account. When I got my own iPhone and set up my own iTunes account it automatically synced my gmail and converted my MobileMe to my @me address all connected to iCloud. . How can my husband create his own iCloud account ?

He will have to get a new Apple ID, and for this he will need a new non-Apple email address (a free one from GMail or Yahoo would be fine). Then he can sign in at System Preferences>iCloud on a different Mac or in a different user account from you and set up a new @icloud.com email address. He cannot import an existing one into this account.

He does not need to change anything in iTunes; if he wants to he can continue to sign in with the same ID he's been using and use the new one for iCloud, there is no conflict between them.
