upon syncing my ipad with my mac, the process reversed and sent pictures back to the ipad on the camera roll. Now none can be deleted. There is no trash showing up, only edit. Instead of the 900 pics in the photo stream, and the same in photos

I canot delete pics from my photos on ipad. During synching process to my mac the pictures started to suddenly be downloaded back to the ipad. I now have 900 pics in photos and the same in photo stream on the ipad. There is no trash can, only an "edit" choice.

iPad 2, iOS 6.0.1
