Yes, I have Snow Leopard on an external drive I can use for running the older programs when necessary.
Have to reboot however but still works.
I am very leary of installing anything from Apple anymore.
I am beginning not to trust them from removing things that I have used for years.
I took a look at the OS installer package using Pacifist to make sure they didn't try and sneak in iTunes 11 on me as I have no use for it. I will stay with 10.7.
I saw Safari was updated along with a few other applications but that was all I could basically see.
Tha'ts why I asked the question if anyone else saw anything removed after updating to 10.8.3
I am also to the point that I will not be purchasing Apple computers anymore at this time.
I used to replace my 3 Macs every 2 years just to rotate them out and upgrade to the newer Apple computers.
No more.
I think I will keep what I have until they die. Then I am not sure what I am going to do unless they give us back some of the things we complained about them removing as mentioned above. Yes, I have sent my feedback to Apple about those items along with thousdands of others from the posts read here.
This sort of makes me imagine if we took our new car into the dealer for service and they removed the stereo from the car saying we didn't need it anymore. And the next time we take it in for service, they removed the back seat saying we don't need that either.
I don't think I would ever take my car in for service again if they kept removing things.
Same goes for upgrading the OS these days for me.
Anyway, thanks for all the feedback.
I have now installed 10.8.3 on one of my computers to test it out before installing it on the others.
