I own a iPhone 5 from verizon. I would like to know if it can be unlock now.

You have to ask Verizon. All Verizon iPhone 5's are unlocked for international use, but not in the USA.
All Verizon iPhone 5's SIM ports are unlocked.
One of my acquaintances confirmed that he is able to run T-Mo as well AT&T fine, of course, except LTE.
