"No Hardware Installed" when Wifi symbol is clicked. Cannot connect from Macbook

This morning, my MacBook was doing perfect. But when I came back from a party, opened up my Mac, the wifi signal was gone. At first, it said to turn it on, but it didn't find my router. Then, it would turn the wifi off by itself. I've restarted the Mac twice, with no sign of wifi connecting. The router was not rebooted, avoiding the risks of disconnecting the three TVs, my phone, and several other devices (it'd screw up the whole household.) What can I do? Or do I have to take it to the Apple store?
