Excuse me, I now have an iPhone 3GS with iOS 6.1.2 operating system. I have one question about iOS 6 in the iPhone 3GS. One of the features of iOS 6 is if we install a new application, the application icon will be marked with a blue ribbon and the words "NEW". But, in my iPhone 3GS application icon is just a blue ribbon marked and not marked "NEW", as shown in the picture.
Can anyone help me?

Hi guys! My girlfriend has this "problem" too. I think that the NEW word is not appearing because the display is not Retina and so not capable of a little text like the NEW one. But I'd prefer an official explanation 🙂

Well you're not going to get one here. This is a USER TO USER forum. Apple does not participate in the discussions here.
Of course I know that this is a user to user forum, there's no need to use capital letters 🙂 I was just saying that if somebody has an official explanation for this (manual, website, etc...) it's well accepted 😉 I wasn't surely asking Tim Cook to give me an answer.
If you're that interested, I'm sure you're quite capable of searching Apple's website for yourself.
