Mac OS X moutainlion USB problems

From one day to another my iMac lost the USB-port!

Neither my iPhone nor my iPad, Canon-Scanner or Canon-SLR-Camera won't show up on none oft the usb ports.

Neither iPhonto, iTunes, ImageCapture nor any other application connects to the devices.

Deactivating antivirus software and any other startup-items did not solve the problem, nor did resetting PRAM help anything.

The information from my system to USB is:

USB-Hochgeschwindigkeitsbus:

Ort für Host-Controller: USB (Integriert)

Treiber für Host-Controller: AppleUSBEHCI

PCI Geräte-ID: 0x1c2d

PCI Revisions-ID: 0x0005

PCI Hersteller-ID: 0x8086

Bus-Nummer: 0xfa

Does anybody know, how to solve this problem?

Thank you very much in advance!

Reinhard

Thx for reminding me! Yes, I have extended Apple Care for this iMac 27" 🙂

And meanwhile I found out, that iTunes does recognize an iPodNano, as well as the USB-Port recognizes USB-Sticks. Yesterday I called the AC-Hotline and now I think about doing a clean-install of the Mac OS X ...

once in while one should do this anyhow! ➕

Thank you very much!
