basically I'm trying to get music dropped onto my macbook air from my Brothers Mac desktop. I have got the firewall letting through file share, all the file sharing settings are set to allow it. I can connect to his computer to drop files into his computer but he cannot connect to my laptop. He doesn't AirDrop which would have been much easier. Suggestions?
What happens when he tried to connect? He would need a user name/password to connect, which could be accomplished by setting up an admin account he can use.
