I am simply looking for how I connect this to my Direct TV Internet Connection kit.  My old modem had a WPS button on it so I could pair it with the Direvt TV kit.  How do I do this with the Airport Extreme?  Thanks!

Yep - KISS is right   I actually took the Direct TV connection kit back to factory defaults because I tried everything I could think of on the AIrport Extreme.  I think it had to forget the settings from our former moden in order to recognize the AIrport.  Thanks for the quick reply!!

I'm a great believer in the KISS principle.

Configuration is simple if you start from a factory default condition.  Then connect the Airport to AC power and finally to the Internet modem (or modem/router).  Open Airport Utility on your Mac or other computer and accept all of the recommendations.  After confirming that it works, insert your desired administrative and WiFi passwords.

Do not expect the Airport to respond instantly to the configuration commands.  BE PATIENT!
