Flash Player 11 woes

I downloaded the Flash Player 11 to my OS 10.6.8. In the HD Library/internet Plugins, Flash Player is listed (download date is today, so it is not the old version). I have restarted. I still can't play video and get Plugin Blocked message. Help!

Linc Davis's response to Black Beard's question solved this (2/25/13). I found out that it had installed the old version earlier today (don't know how that happened).
