Q: Can the first iPad get new emoji?

I just wanted to know because I have the first generation iPad and I'm seeing new emojis like the new moon face and lollipops. My iPad says iOS 5.1 and all the new emoji apps support that, but its not showing up on the keyboard. Help?

    It likely requires the newest version of iOS to get this feature. Go to Settings > General > Keyboard. Tap on Add New Keyboard. You will be presented with a list. Tap on Emoji. If you are not presented with the Emoji keyboard, then it is not available on the original iPad.
