When I enter data in a cell, it disappears, unless I enter the data in the text bar at the top of the page.

When I type data into an iWork Numbers Cell, the entered data disappears when I move to the next cell. However, if I type the data in the bar at the top of the Numbers page, it remains in the cell when I move to the next cell, without disappearing. Please assist.

After entering data, I tab-over to the next cell and my entered data disappears. I then enter data into the new cell, tab-over to the next cell and then watch that data disappear.........I "selected-all "and copied the affected sheet, opened-up a new sheet, pasted the data to the new sheet, and deleted the original sheet. So far, the problem has been resolved.......Thank you for your assistance........

After I entered data into the cell and watched it disappear when I tabbed-over to the next cell, I would move the cursor back to the affected cell and notice that there was no entered data appearing in the Formula Bar. I would then enter the data directly on the Formula Bar and then, when I tabbed-over to the next cell, the data entered directly into the Formula Bar would remain in the Cell ....... After tinkering with the sheet, I "selected-all "and copied the affected sheet, opened-up a new sheet, pasted the data onto the new sheet, and deleted the original sheet. So far, this has resolved the problem.......Thank you for your assistance........
