A website keeps asking me a valid SSL certificate, even when I choose the valid one from the drop-down, the website still won't respond correctly and comes up with an error message...... HELP

I get a message telling me the 'Webprocess' wants to sign in using an out of date 'Apple ID Authentication Key' I say deny, then select the valid one, but it keeps coming back and says it wants to sign in using the out-of-date one ??
Sounds like that webpage is doing SSL/TLS client authentication requesting for a user certificate. Furthermore, you are using Safari. Do you still face this problem?
Similar happened to me. I resolved this by cleaning up my client certificates. In Apple Keychain, there is an identity preference object for your website. There you are able to choose the correct client certificate. Did that help?
