Ipod photo 40gb battery replacement??

Hi...i know that if you send your ipod back for battery replacement that they send you a new ipod...so i was wonering how that works with a 40gb photo as they are no longer available? Anyone sent one back who can tell me what you get back??

They probably send you a 40GB refurbished iPod

If your iPod is under warranty, they will replace the whle thing with the exact same type of iPod that you have. If your iPod is outside of your warranty, they simply replace your old battery with a new one, and then send your iPod back to you.
