How is it that FACEBOOK has penetrated my Contacts on my iCloud and my iPhone?
Not only that BUT I am prevented from deleting ANY of those "FACEBOOK contacts"!!!
I do NOT wan FACEBOOK in my Apple address book

Go to Settings>FaceBook and turn Contacts to Off.
This is a good answer except that I am unable to locate "settings".

On my iPad II "Settings" I went to Facebook and nowhere does opening that list "contacts"
It ists:
Facebook [ INSTALLED ]
Settings > Play Sound / Record HD Video / Nofications / Version / About
User Name
Password
[ Sign In ]
[ Create New Account }
.... no "Contacts" in any of these. - - a little frustating, sorry
On my iPhone I DID find "Allow these Apps to Use Your Account
Calendar ON/OFF
Contacts ON/OFF
Facebook ON/OFF
Without knowing what "Calendar" and "Facebook" would do if I switched them OFF, I turned OFF only "Contacts"

What the heck. I switched OFF Facebook, too. : )
An iOS device is an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. If you have singed into FaceBook on your device, you'll see the option to turn FaceBook Contacts syncing to off. Turning this off should remove the FaceBook contacts from your device, and as a result, from your iCloud account as well.
Did that clear things up for you?
And what do we do to delete a facebook sign in and accompaning contacts that another person put on your device without their password and what purpose does not being able to do this serve.
What are you supposed to do if you have that link turned off already and your Facebook app is still accessing your contacts?
