Q: Unexplained power shut off
My phone showed 50% charge but stopped working showing as dead. When I plugged in charge showed 45%. Temp was above 32 but it was cold. I was in the middle of a phone call and had been watching the charge levels.
Since it now appears to be charging normally do I need to take any action?
Running current iOS on a 4S
iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1

If everything appears fine that is good. If the issue returns, make Genius reservation and take iPhone to Apple Store for free quick battery diagnostic testing.
