Q: how do you delete the iPhone from iTunes
I am trying to delete my iPhone 3 so that my father can have it, It won't delete my contacts and add his? Its not connected to any provider, you can use any SIM. Help?

On your iPhone go to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings. This will erase the whole iPhone and its data and settings - along with contacts.
