Cinema Display not working

Hi,

Has anyone any ideas about my Cinema Display/mouse/keyboard, which has suddenly packed up. This has happened before in cold weather (below 14ºC when I occasionally leave the office un-heated over the weekend) On those occassions, I have waited until the office got to about 20ºC and then things would get back to normal. This has happened again, but now the G5 has powered up but no screen/mouse/keyboard. Any suggestions, other than not being mean with my office heating, welcome!

Hi BDAqua, Thanks for your reply. I have tried resetting the PMU a few times with power on/off and made checks to cables etc. but no luck. The only difference was that the rear fans are no longer running at high speed. The mouse is connected by cable to the keyboard which in turn is connected by cable to the G5. Maybe I need to test the power output from the seperate transformer to the cinema display? Any more suggestions welcome. Thanks, photomouse.

Hi BDAqua,

I'm still having a problem with my Apple Cinema HD Display 23 " connected to a G5 Power PC running OSX 10.4.11. The screen will not wake from sleep mode unless I unplug everything, wait a few minutes and then reboot. I have set the sleep for the computer and the display to never but it still goes to sleep leaving the acd blank (with no little blue light on) Any further suggestions welcome. Thanks, Photomouse
