in order to sync the movies you will need to authorize the computer. If you have forgotten your password you can attempt to reset your password for the apple id you used to purchase the movies from https://iforgot.apple.com/iForgot/iForgot.html . Once your password is reset in itunes just select Store> Authorize this computer and sign in with the apple id you used for those purchases.

what you will want to check is under your purchase history to ensure you used your current apple id to purchase these movies. If you go to itunes store you will see on the home page under quick links an option for purchased, this will take you to the page that show all your purchased items if you see the movies there i would recommend that you delete them from the itunes library and redownload. If it doesnt show then that means a different apple id was used to purchase the content.

Carl if your 100% sure you used the apple id you have now you can also look it up under your purchase history under you account. If thats the case you purchased them you can redownload them.
