ARD issues with Lion + MTN Lion machines

I am running ARD 3.6.1 on a MBP with OS X 10.7.5. We recently set up some new machines with Mountain Lion 10.8.x and ARD agent 3.6.2 on them. They show up in my ARD scanner as available, I can add them to my All Computers list, username and passwords are entered correctly, yet I get an error when I try to connect to these machines. Error states "Make sure Remote Management is enabled on the computer which you are trying to connect to and make sure network connection is working properly." Both the settings and network are working properly, but no luck. Is this happening to anyone else and is there a work around?

I have had luck sending the ARD kickstart commmand via UNIX and waiting a few minutes, then it seams to be ok. Other way to to go into sharing and turn off Remote Management for 30 seconds, then re-enable it.
