Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

hi she as a passcode can't enter the passcode to it in to do anything

Restore the device via iTunes on the computer it normally syncs with, this will remove the passcode.
