replacing time capsule. How do I reformat old one?

I'm replacing my existing TimeCap with a new one. How do I zero out all data on the old device?

Time Capsule 802.11n (4th Gen), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.1)

The "Erase" function is set at default for "Quick Erase", which will only take a minute or two, but it is not secure.

"Quick Erase" if fine to use if you plan to keep the Time Capsule yourself, but if another user will be using the product, you should use the "Zero Out" erase option.

This is going to take some time....likely 4-6 hours or more depending on the size of the hard drive in the Time Capsule, so you might want to plan accordingly.
