Q: i followed this procedure, but my iPad has virtually none of my content/apps- how do i get back to what i had on it before?

I created a backup of my iPad in iTunes.

Got a new iPad

Restored from Backup to my new iPad.

But majority of my apps/content are missing!

I especially wanted Paper, with all my sketches!

HELP!

Apps are not stored in the backup. Apps are stored in the iTunes library on the Mac. Sync your iPad with iTunes and the apps should be restored to the iPad.
