If this was installing on a freshly formatted drive it should take around 25-30 minutes. If upgrading an existing system it wil take around 45-60 minutes. I would say your installation has frozen. I would force quit and try again.

I am installing Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.3 on my Mac Book Pro. I started around 2.5 hrs ago and it is still going. It is on the white screen with just the apple and the loading icon. And it has been there for at least 2 hrs. I am worried. Help?!
