Mac OS X: How to automatically connect to a server when you log in - but not have finder window appear?

For Mac OS X v10.4, v10.5, and v10.6

  1. From the Finder menu, choose Preferences. Under "Show these items on the Desktop," enable the option for "Connected servers."
  2. Connect to the server volume(s) you would like to automatically mount at login.
  3. Open System Preferences.
  4. Select the Accounts preference pane
  5. Click the Login Items tab.
  6. Drag the volume(s) from the Finder into the Login Items list in the System Preferences window.

Running Mac OS X 10.7.5
Above steps work PERFECTLY however a finder window appears evertime that the machine starts.
In System Preferences/Users & Groups/Login Items the volume itslef is selected and ticked to "Hide"

How do I prevent finder window from appearing?

iMac (27-inch Late 2009), Mac OS X (10.7.5)
