transition in secondary storyline affects the entire screen

Hi Everyone,

I don't know if this is a bug but it certainly troubles me a bit.

I found that if I have secondary story line which its size is reduced (like a picture in picture effect), the transition in the secondary storyline will affect the entire screen. For example, if there is a fade to black effect in the secondary storyline, I would like the fade to black to be only effective on the reduced picture in picture area. But now, the primary storyline footage (entire screen) will be affected.

Any solution for this?

pls post a screenshot of your timeline....

And.... Whenever you can, AVOID secondary story lines.... Avoiding those are equal to avoiding a grand case of bad mood ;-)

You have to have a secondary storyline to create transitions on upper layers. Not sure what you're trying to do, but5 a fade to color transitions fades to a color. If you're just trying to fade up use a cross dissolve.
