HP Color Laser Jet CM 2320nf MFP scanner and OS 10.8.3

With reference to this Apple article about drivers that are available from Apple, the entry for the HP Color LaserJet CM2320 MFP Series does not list that a scanner driver - only a printer driver.

So you will have to check the HP web site for a supporting scanner driver and scanning software.

Recently upgraded to Mountain Lion and found out that my CM2320 MFP can only print, NOT scan. Inquired with HP tech support here in Seoul, Korea, where I am based, and they told me the scan function is no longer available in Mountain Lion. Bummer! Anyone know of alternatives, workarounds? I bought this machine explicitly to take advantage of the networked printing and scanning functions.

I have never been able to scan with my HP Color LaserJet CM 2320nf MFP since the day it was purchased a couple of years ago because the HP Director application on the CD-ROM was corrupted and I could never get HP support to address the problem. Although I had to pay for the Vue Scan third party software when I should have been able to get HP to fix the problem without further cost, I am thrilled that I can now scan - especially since my other multi-function printer (an Epson) has begun to refuse to scan from my wife's Windows-based computer. On the other hand, I am thoroughly upset with HP because functioning scanning software was supposed to be included in the cost of the machine.

Did you try to install the HP software from 10.7?

For my HP 1213 i did install the older software and it works.

Okay with this software, it looks like we go back to the 60's, and its amazing how quick HP let theire buyers down.

It was already software not to be happy with, but we can do something.

Also the service, we got three of those, but on every contact they reply with BS. We really regrets our purchase.
